Utah

The Beehive State

Welcome to Utah: Where the Rocks Are Red, the Snow is White, and Every Road Trip Somehow Ends in a National Park

Capital with a Capital C

Saltiest Lake City

Being the capital of Utah, we had to land here to start our Utah journey. We went to the The Salt Lake Temple, a temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. We also drove around to see the city, and it was a nice downtown!

National Parks

Whoa

National Parks Galore

I contenmplated getting the America the Beautiful National Parks Annual Pass for the national parks, but we couldn’t see all of them in US, let alone just in Utah. Here are the pics/activities we did at the national parks I did go to, as well as some other recommendations I got from friends to check out!

Bryce Canyon

We drove around 4 hours to get to Bryce first, and with distinct hoodoos, it was an absolutely beautiful drive. We drove to the top to get the view of the entire canyon. There was a little bit of snow when we went so be careful if you go during December!

Zion

Zion was an hour and a half from our hotel in Bryce, and the first thing I noticed that it was so red. The red was absolutely beautiful and nothing I have seen before. My brother and I also hiked a little to the top to get a good view of the canyon below. It was not a difficult hike and worth it for anyone able to do so!
